Space Microbiome Stuff!

Hey guys, I'm back with another post, This time about microbiomes in space and space as a topic in general.

The reason I'm talking about microbiomes (which is out of the blue considering my regular topics) is that we have a project at school where there are 6 activities on a sheet. You have to choose 6 of the 10 to complete in the space of 6 weeks. One of the possible tasks is writing about something going on with NASA or a space related study in recent times. And on NASA.gov i found an interesting article about microbiomes in space that I thought I would write about.

So, I've rambled on long enough about why I'm writing about microbiomes. But I haven't actually said anything about the actual microbiomes yet!

Microbiomes are essentially a biome (fancy word for climate)
of microbes. An you may be thinking right now, what does NASA have to do with microbiomes? Well, a recent study NASA has started is to do with the microbes and the microbiomes in NASA space ships. They are doing this study to find out different things that will eventually help them make the journey to Mars more fruitful and possible more quickly.

Phew, that was a very long post! If you've gotten to this point thank you very much for sitting through that hole long spiel and enduring my long, boring and meandering post. As always I hope you've had a wonderful day and bye!

P.S: This is going to be my last post for a couple weeks because its the holidays tomorrow. <3
