Production Dancing!

Hey guys, I'm back with another post, this time about the production dances we're learning.

Each day now, we have been doing at east one Production based thing as it is a very important thing in the school year. On Fridays, we do Production dance practice learning the songs that we dance to through the production.

The song we're dancing to is called Robbin Hood by Extra Circular
which is about a staged robbery which was failed and they were taken to a police station.

There are also other dances but I haven't done any of them yet so I guess that my favorite one is the Robbin Hood dance but it could change as I do more of the dances.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day.

DOGO News

Hey guys, I'm back with another post, this time about the very intriguing website for kids: DOGO News.

DOGO News is a news site for children filled with interesting articles that are very cool and just the sort of thing children like me would be interested in. Our task this week is to go in depth in to one of the articles we've seen on the site so I'm writing about one of their more recent articles about wearable tech for Olympic athletes.

The essence of the article is really that it explains pieces of technology helping athletes achieve greater heights of performance.
It's a very interesting article that I enjoyed reading and here is the link. http://www.dogonews.com/2016/8/13/wearable-tech-gives-athletes-an-edge-at-the-2016-rio-olympics .

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day and be sure to check out DOGO News, here is their link http://www.dogonews.com/ .

Riddle

Hey guys, I'm back with another post, this time something different to the usual, a riddle.

This is going to be a riddle using a metaphor. There will be multiple clues, so with out further ado, begin!

I am taller than everyone that walks past me though I can not move.
My arms are long yet spindly and get broken often.
I have no legs but I am unmoving and will only move in death.
When I am killed I am cremated in people's homes for warmth.
But while I am alive I am the life force of people around me.

Thank you for reading this post and don't forget to comment on what you think I'm trying to describe.

Olympics

Hey guys I'm back with another post. This time about the Olympic Games.

The Olympics started recently and have blown up with almost everyone knowing about them. But the bulk of the post was to tell about a particular sport that I've watched so I'm going to tell you guys about Weight Lifting.

Well,it's kind of strange, but Weight Lifting seems boring until you actually watch it, then when you do, it's awesome!

The way it works is that everyone gets 3 goes to lift the weight in the 3 categories: The Snatch, The Clean And Jerk and The Combine.

Sadly, I didn't get to watch all of it but it was fun watching just The Snatch and i really liked it. So obviously I didn't see who was on the podium. Anyway, thanks for watching and have a great week.

Book Groups

Hey guys. I'm finally back after the holidays an ready to go!

So, this weeks post will be about book groups. Every year all the intermediate classes get together and have inter class book groups.
At the book groups we are assigned a group in which we read and analyze the book we are given and discuss it at set meeting times.

My group this year is reading the book: The Silver Sword which I'm really enjoying. The book itself is about a family that lives in Warsaw and the Nazis come and take away the father: Joseph who runs a school and he was taken away because he turned one of the pictures of Hitler against the wall and someone told the Nazis.

The story so far has been about his daring escape from the concentration camp he was sent to with the aid of a poor couple.

It is a great read and I'm enjoying the discussion process our group goes through at our meetings. Thank you for reading even after so long of no posts and have a wonderful day.
